Federal leaders, technology innovators, Knox customers, and industry partners gathered in Washington, D.C. for the inaugural Knox Xchange to discuss the future of technology and government.
The stakes for government technology have never been higher.
Rapid advancements in AI are creating new opportunities to strengthen government capabilities. At the same time, cyber threats continue to evolve, mission demands are increasing, and agencies face growing pressure to deliver results faster than ever before.
Meeting these challenges requires more than innovation alone. It requires stronger connections between the people building technology and the leaders responsible for deploying it in support of critical government missions – so we launched Knox Xchange.
Held at the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, our inaugural Xchange brought together federal leaders, technology innovators, compliance experts, and industry partners to focus on the future of government software and the technologies that will define advancement.
Bringing Government and Technology Ecosystems Together
Now more than ever, government agencies need greater access to innovative commercial software. Yet too often, the path from innovation to deployment remains slowed by lengthy compliance processes, complex procurement cycles, and barriers that prevent emerging technologies from reaching those who need them most.
The conversations throughout Knox Xchange focused on how government and industry can work together to close that gap, and ensure that the best technology reaches government faster.
Leaders from across the federal ecosystem joined us, including senior officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Justice, GSA, and the Department of War.
On the commercial side, Knox customers including Resilinc, Celonis, Armis, Backupta, BigID, OutSystems, and many others represented critical capabilities we’re unlocking for federal implementation.
We were also honored to welcome members of the broader federal technology community, including our partners at OpenPolicy and Carahsoft and Knox federal advisors David Epperson and Carrie Lee.
Celebrating the Companies Driving Innovation
Knox Xchange brought together many of the software companies helping modernize government operations through secure, mission-focused technology.
These organizations represent a growing movement of technology companies that recognize the importance of serving government missions and are investing in the infrastructure, compliance, and partnerships necessary to do so successfully.
Their participation reinforced a core belief shared throughout the event: innovation and mission outcomes move faster when government and industry collaborate closely.
Accelerating Access to Technology That Matters
Across conversations, a common theme emerged.
Government agencies need access to modern software at the speed of mission. Whether the challenge is AI adoption, cybersecurity, operational resilience, data governance, or digital transformation, the technologies needed to solve these problems already exist today.
The challenge is ensuring those technologies can reach government users quickly, securely, and efficiently.
At Knox, we believe compliance should be an accelerator for innovation, not a barrier to it. Our mission is to make it dramatically easier for software companies to achieve authorization and deliver their products to federal customers – unlocking access for government, by unlocking federal for commercial SaaS.
Knox Xchange reflects that same commitment by creating a forum where leaders can share ideas, build partnerships, and help shape the future of government technology together.
Looking Ahead
The conversations that began at our inaugural Xchange are only the beginning.
As AI capabilities accelerate, cyber threats become more sophisticated, and government missions continue to evolve, collaboration between federal leaders and technology innovators will become increasingly important.
Knox Xchange will continue to foster those connections and help ensure the best technology reaches those serving our country, at the speed of mission needs.
To everyone who joined us for our inaugural event, thank you. We were honored to host you and look forward to continuing the conversation as we work together to accelerate innovation across government.
