Knox Systems is aware of reports regarding a security incident involving RapidFort. Based on our internal review, our discussions with RapidFort, and the information made available to us, we have concluded that there is no evidence that Knox Systems, Knox AI, our customers, or customer workloads were impacted by this incident.
Upon learning of these reports, Knox Systems immediately initiated its standard third-party incident review process and engaged directly with RapidFort's executive leadership, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and incident response team to understand the nature of the reported incident, assess its scope, and determine whether there was any potential impact to Knox Systems, Knox AI, or our customers. In parallel, Knox Systems conducted its own investigation to evaluate any potential impact to our platform, services, software supply chain, and customer environments.
Knox Systems' investigation included evaluating the reported attack path, understanding the nature of the information that RapidFort reported as exposed, assessing our integration with RapidFort, and determining whether any conditions existed that could have introduced risk to our customers. Based on that assessment, we found no evidence that the reported incident created risk to Knox Systems or to the customers who rely on our platform.
Trust is earned through transparency, diligence, and verification. We believe it is important to communicate openly whenever security events involving our technology partners become known, even when the available evidence indicates that customer risk is low. We will continue to monitor this situation, maintain direct communication with RapidFort as additional information becomes available, and perform additional due diligence if warranted. Should new information materially change our assessment, Knox Systems will communicate those findings promptly and transparently. Based on the information currently available and our own investigation, Knox Systems remains confident in the security of the services we deliver to our customers.
